R.E.M.A.
Retired Emergency Man’s Association
March 21, 2007
To all members,
Below is a portion of a Vatican press release that I received today with
the long awaited news of the elevation of our REMA Chaplain to the office of
Monsignor. This is a most deserved achievement in the life of a man who is
always there for us, as well as for every New York City Police Officer -
regardless of rank or circumstance.
I know our prayers and well wishes go out to Monsignor Romano who, I hope,
will be officiating at Floyd Bennett Field on April 28, 2007 for REMA's Annual
Day of Remembrance. Put it on your calendar.
You can send your own message to him at: ROJORO@aol.com (Tell him REMA
sent you.)
